All I have to say is... ... I figured that a movie from the mind of Rob Zombie would be weird but this movie was incredibly twisted. I thought it was interesting how The Devils Rejects in the movie were to me, trying to be portrayed as good in the movie with the law being on the bad side. Quite interesting technique and something that I wouldn't mind watching again although I found it hard to handle some parts. |

Everyone says that, but, while true, I think that whole "bad guy made to look like the good guy" thing was executed very badly. There was not one moment where I actually sympathized with the Rejects.
I didn't care for the film, but compared to House of 1000 Corpses it might as well have been Spartacus. So it has that going for it.
I do think Rob Zombie has the potential to make a genuinely good horror movie. He just hasn't done it yet. |

I didn't necessarily sympathize with them but I saw the sherriff as more of an evil character. |

It was a great example of what it was trying to be. Whether or not you like other films that aspire to its niche will likely tell you in advance whether you will dig it. It was indeed Spartacus compared to House of 1,000 Corpses |
