Hello to all your new forumers. Its great to have you aboard. I know the sticky at the top of this is for introductions, I but I thought I would give it a clean slate and try to coax you all into introducing yourselves. Jim included.
Hope to learn about you all soon.

hey there! i'm new to the forums and the review team...yay! this is a cool site and i'm glad to be aboard. umm, a little about myself...i'm in college studying film/theatre/english. when i graduate i'm going to film school in denver so that i can expand on my technical knowledge and hopefully get some sort of job in film production (ideally directing). but ya, some of my favorite filmmakers are: kubrick, hitchcock, kurosawa, soderbergh, fellini, truffaut, godard...and it goes on and on. favorite films: star wars trilogy, jaws, the godfather, the third man, hiroshima mon amour, the limey, the conversation, 8 1/2, and this list goes even further on. anyways, i dig this site and i'm glad to be able to put in my two cents, for whatever that's worth. later yo. |

Hey there, sprouticus... Great to have you aboard. Your presence has demoted me to the "wannabe filmmaker" of the site, as you sound pretty acccomplished already (I took a peek at your site) and my only film project is a three minute short sitting on someone else's computer, half-edited. I look forward to talk to you about filmmaking pursuits as well as the usual site concerns.
Random fact: I, too, have a film project (in the writing process now) about suicide AND with a female lead named Beth... well, Bethany anyhow. Kinda strange, I thought. |

I'm new ... in a sense.
"Mac" introduced me to S-P. We were fellow pessimists at another board and, as that board nears destruction, I now seek refuge here, where I look forward to becoming a regular. |

Uh... a regular?
What's that?
*looks up 'regular' in dictionary*
Ohhh... Ok.
Great to have you aboard, Nikcon. The boards might not be much yet, but we expect this site to have many years ahead, so stretch your legs and get comfortable. And you may well become our first regular. |

Awesome! Maybe we'll actually get some discussions going. That'd be awesome. SP is like the United States, we're a refuge for those distraught with their own nation. _________________ Playing the world's smallest violin while nothing burns. |

Yes, but unlike the US, there aren't a lot of people now distraught with this site. |

Sup Numbers. Well...it's good to see you around. It's not the liveliest place around. I'm actually gonna try to fix that. See if I can tempt some of the less seedy denizens of TTB to pop in and hang around. Tall order, but...never know. |

I have to introduce myself? Weak.
Hi everyone! I'm not much of a film buff, but I like a good movie. Luckily, I have RM and Mac to tell me whats good and what to avoid, as they see everything. And as long as I remember that a grade of 60% if NOT and F, they are usually pretty good at picking out the gems.
I tend to lurk at boards, so I'm not sure how much posting I'll be doing, but I'll try to chime in every now and then. _________________ Fuck dancing. Lets talk about art. |

Well destruction is a relative term. Like....oh hey...Derek's posting. The forum is destroyed AGAIN. |
