The Da Vinci Code seems a lock for number one this weekend but Over The Hedge has run a pretty strong campaign. Which film will be number one this weekend. It's up to mom and dad, get a sitter and see Da Vinci or take the kids to Over The Hedge?

I'm votin' Da Vinci, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong. Hard to tell how strong kids movies will perform, and Hedge looks like one of the better attempts in recent history.

I have been told by my churchgoing relatives that their church is willing to reimburse their tickets if the see it. I guess the idea is that they want everyone to come to church to be re-educated about the perils of the movie... But in effect it sounds like free movie day for some.
So we shall see.
