Smoppies?

Hello Smart-Popcorn people.

I cannot for the life of me figure out
how SERENITY was named Best Picture
in last year's Smoppies. Despite that,
I am wondering if we will all be doing
the whole year end award thing again.
God knows there have been a lot of
changes around here since then and
from recent conversations, there are
obviously more to come. That being
said, I would love to go through a
nomination process again.

Thom has asked me to just drop the
topic and see who bites. I guess if
there is a lot of interest, we'll see
a similar forum to last year's set up
shortly allowing us all to vote.

I don't know why I'm pushing for
this mind you considering what a
horrible year for film is has been.

I'm in! I love the Smoppies. And btw, Serenity was one of last years best reviewed films on the site. That plus a link at a serenity fansite skewed the fan voting in that movies favor.
